Sitting with a Cuppa and Daffodils

I love daffodils. But mostly I drive or walk past them. So I thought I’d plant a lot of them, in front of a window, and enjoy them in a more leisurely fashion. Over the winter, I planted bulbs outside the kitchen and imagined having a cuppa, in the warmth, whilst enjoying the colours of a swathe of daffs. I wasn’t sure they would bloom because the soil there is poor, so I was doubly happy to see such a good display.

Behind them, under the hazel trees, I planted 700 bluebells. What will emerge there?
